Sunday Brunch at Chez Catherine's in Westfield
Diedier Jouvenet and Executive Chef C.J. Reycraft Jr. of Chez Catherine in Westfield cordially invite the public to join them in their first ever Sunday brunch April 5. The prix-fixe menu includes a main course, dessert, Bloody Mary or Mimosa or juice or soda and coffee. (pre fixe $29.00 per person; 20 % gratuity for parties of 5 or more.)

Included in the selection of 8 entrees are: mixed greens or Caesar salad, choice of chicken, hanger steak or shrimp; French toast, brioche, creme fraiche, Vermont Maple syrup; omelette 'facon du chef'; oeufs sur le plat, 2 eggs, your style with toast, choice of hanger steak, Nueske bacon, sausage, Taylor ham, pommes lyonnaise; oeufs poches Benedictine, 2 eggs on toasted English muffins with Taylor ham and hollandaise sauce; poisson du jour, fish of the day seasonally prepared, and saumon sauvage a l'Oseille, pan-seared wild salmon, sorrel, rainbow char, dill, and white wine. Desserts feature; soupe au melon, gingembre et citron vert, honeydew melon, ginger-lime soup; panna cotta aux bleuets, cold, silky eggless custard, blueberries, profiteroles au chocolat chaud, puff pastry vanilla ice cream, hot chocolate sauce, fondant au chocolat, warm chocolate molten cake, fruit sorbet or ice cream.

Chez Catherine is located at 431 North Avenue, Westfield. Hours: Sunday brunch, noon to 4 p.m.; Sunday dinner, 4 to 8 p.m.
