Westfield Announcements

The Town Book Store will host a Meet and Greet for Alexa Zepka, Westfield High School student and author of the young adult book, Kurz or Nothing on Saturday, October 31 from 11am-1pm. Kurz or Nothing is an uplifiting story about life, passion, and the ultimate drive to achieve one's goals; a story about a girl who loses a dream, but realizes it anyway. It is based upon the true experience of Alexa Zepka, a 2006 alumnae of Roosevelt Intermediate School in Westfield, who underwent a shocking encounter with the school's Teddy Roosevelt Scholar Program. The novel includes characters based on well-known Roosevelt Intermediate School teachers such as: Mr. Marc Biunno, Mr. Robert Hild, and Mr. Glenn Kurz.
